Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026
1. In short
There is no wallet. If a recharge or bill payment fails after money has been taken, we refund the full amount to the same account, card or UPI ID you paid from. A successful recharge or bill payment generally cannot be cancelled.
2. Failed payments
A payment can fail after your money is debited, for example if the operator or biller rejects it or does not respond. When a transaction is marked failed, we start a refund automatically; you do not need to ask. The app shows the transaction as refunded once we have started it.
3. Pending payments
Some payments stay pending while we wait for the operator, biller or BBPS to confirm them. A pending payment ends as either successful or failed, usually within [X hours]. If it fails, it is refunded as in section 2. Please do not pay again for the same bill while a payment is pending, to avoid paying twice.
4. Successful payments and cancellation
- A recharge is delivered to the operator as soon as it succeeds, so it cannot be cancelled or refunded by us.
- A successful bill payment is passed to the biller through BBPS and cannot be cancelled by us. If the biller has not credited it, raise a complaint with us (or through BBPS) with your BBPS reference.
- If you paid a bill twice, the extra amount is usually adjusted by the biller against your next bill. Contact the biller or us for help.
5. Wrong number or account
Please check the mobile number, subscriber ID, consumer number and operator before you pay. A successful payment to a number or account that you entered wrongly usually cannot be reversed. We will contact the operator or biller on your behalf on a best-effort basis, but cannot promise a refund.
6. Refund timelines
| Paid with | We start the refund | Money usually reaches you |
|---|---|---|
| UPI | Within [X] working days of the failure | [1–3] working days after that |
| Debit or credit card | [5–7] working days after that | |
| Net banking | [5–7] working days after that |
The time for money to reach you depends on your bank or card issuer. You can use the refund reference shown in the app to check with your bank.
7. Reward coins on refunds
Coins earned on a payment that is refunded are taken back, and the change shows in your coin history. If coins were used on a payment that fails, they are returned to your balance. [Confirm once coin redemption is live.]
8. Convenience fees
If a convenience fee was charged on a payment that fails, it is refunded with the payment. Fees on successful payments are not refundable. [Confirm fee policy.]
9. How to raise a refund request
If you have not received a refund within the times above, contact us with your transaction number, the amount and the date. If you are not satisfied with our answer, follow our grievance redressal process.
Write to us with your transaction number from the app and we will look into it.
